After an exciting last episode it seemed fitting to slow the show down a little bit. Not only to better pace the show but to show us how this team will gel together. While they were sitting in the restaurant they were many great moments. One thing that was very evident was that the group itself has very good chemistry playing off each other. From the whole group listening and mocking the ridiculous things Danny says to the chemistry between Luke and Jessica every moment of the scene just felt right.
The episode gives us a better idea on why Matt finally decided to quit being Daredevil. Apparently he blames his self for the death of Electra and everything that came with it. I also appreciate the fact that they explained why Matt didn’t immediately detect her. It also makes sense why Matt didn’t tell the team about her and for now it’s Stick’s and his secret.
On the other side of things Danny is all is the key to this story. While it’s evident that he is far from the most popular member of the show it makes sense that they use the show to build on his character. Also while it made sense for Alexandra to try to talk Danny over to the dark side there was no chance at it was gonna happen and it left more silly than interesting. Overall a solid episode while it a light on action I’m sure the next episode will make up for that.

Director of the upcoming Batman film announced that the movie is getting a completely new script. This means that the previous script written by Ben Alfleck has been completely scrapped.
The movie seemed to be in serious trouble previously when Alfleck announced that he was no longer directing the project. It’s seemed to get even worse when rumors started to fly that Alfleck wanted out of the film. Things eventually seemed to get better as Matt Reeves was announced as the new director.
The big question is now that the script has been scrapped how will this effect the D.C. Cinematic universe? Even more importantly what does this mean for Joe Manganiello playing Deathstoke? With the Nior feel that Reeves is going for is Deathstoke even feasible for this film? Hopefully all these questions will be answered before the planned 2019 release of the film.
As announced earlier today Lucy Liu (Elementary, Charlie’s Angels) will be directing the season 2 premiere of Luke Cage.
She is not a newcomer when it comes to directing as she directed the movie “Meena” as well as episodes of “Elementary” and “Graceland”. Best wishes to her on this awesome opportunity.

The WWE and Mauro Ranallo have come to an agreement for one of the best Play by play men in the sports business to continue with the WWE as the head announcer for NXT.
This is great news for all WWE fans! We get Ranallo to come back and call matches on NXT TV and Takeover specials which will make that product even better than what it already is. It also keeps Ranallo away from the bully that is John Bradshaw Layfield (JBL). Here is the statement Mauro Ranallo released on his Instagram page
“WWE and I mutually agreed to end my responsibilities on SmackDown having nothing to do with rumors about disputes,” he wrote. “As I remained under contract with WWE, we discussed a variety of options. Despite originally agreeing to part ways, there was always a desire to continue working together. We have come to terms on a new agreement that benefits both WWE and me, and I am thrilled to announce I will now be part of the NXT broadcasting team.”
Ranallo has confirmed he will make his debut for NXT at Friday’s (Tomorrow) taping. So we should see him calling NXT not next week but the week after.
After all the stuff with JBL (Allegedly) I didn’t see him coming back to the WWE so I’m super happy as a fan to see him back. Welcome back Mauro Ranallo!!!
