Preacher Season 2 “Mumbai Sky Tower”Review

I want Root Beer!!

The second half of the premier (or episode 2 whatever you prefer) picks right off were the previous off left off at with Jessie staring down the battle of a gun and his power not working on the Saint of Killers.  Thanks to some devine intervention, a lot of guns and someone who really loves root beer Jessie and the team was able to escape.

It seems that Fiore has found a new career and it is delightful! Jessie goes to him for help And finds out that DeBlanc is also dead. He also found out that Fiore called the Killer of Saints to deal with Jessie. Not only that but he doesn’t really care about finding God just and just wants to be left alone. Leave it to Cassidy to convince him in his own special funny way. It was a weird amalgam of a slumber party and a porn. It was delightful to see th relationship blossom.

In a interesting turn of events Jessie decides to propose to Tulip. It seems like due to recent events it maybe no better time than now to make the move. Even though Tulip reluctantly agreed then Gary popped up in the picture and made her life very difficult. The big question is what kind of trouble is she exactly in and howwill Jessie react when he finds out? It seems more and more like Tulip’s secret will soon be coming to light.

In the end the team was back on the hunt for God and thanks to Fiore the Killer of Saints is one step closer to finding Jessie. Overall, a solid episode even if it’s not as good the first episode.

Score 7.8 out of 10
