Legends of Tomorrow Marooned Review

This week’s Legends starts with a glimpse of who Rip Hunter is. The scene with Rip Hunter sitting in his room for a week watching a video of his wife and son was just as tragic as it sounds. But what was interesting about this episode is that we got a look into what it takes to be a time lord and why it may not be in the best interest to have a family. The episode did a great job of conveying that Rip is out for his family and even though he may not like risking his team he has no choice.

The episode was also about a distress signal who he thought was asking for help but as the team pointed out it seemed like it seem too coincidental. There concerns were correct as Rip, Jax, and Mick were captured by space pirates. This lead to us getting a cool space battle scene as well as a cool fight battle at the end. A battle scene in which Mick was helping the pirates due to not only what Hunter told him but his belief that Snart betrayed his trust. The end result of this was shocking and gratifying end to the episode.

On the other side of the battle due to the space battle the ship hull was damaged and left Snart and Sara trapped. This lead to some great scenes between the two talking about the chance of there demise and the meeting of Snart and Mick. These two have great chemistry together and it each week the show does a good job and building on there relationship. On the other side of things the show is also trying to build a relationship with Ray and Kendra which so far feels forced but with time could work. Overall while the episode had some high points this was a pure filler episode of Legends.

Score 7.0 out of 10
